Strategy Man's hideout

Every wondered what it is a management consultant does? How they end up earning such large fees for essentially telling you to do more work? Kind of weird right?

Well Strategy Man is here to demystify the role of consultants for you. As the best of the best, spanning Strategy through to Implementation, he'll guide you through how valuable management consultancy is and what you might be missing.

What He Offers

01

Unrivalled experience

A regular falsehood repeatedly thrown into sales pitches, how can he possibly know that his offering is unrivalled. Yet he keeps on saying it, without any self awareness that no one believes it.

03

Human centered approach

As opposed to working with bison or armadilloes, Strategy Man is a people person and therefore has the ability to communicate with human beings like 95% of the population.

05

Sustainable solution

Hopefully what he offers will be useful when the project is finished, at least, that's the idea. Rarely is this the case - what's handed over then needs to be reworked or abandoned depending upon how poorly the implementation went.

02

Brings the A team

Implying that the people he works with are a mix of high performers and also rans, and if we can trust him then he might choose some of the better ones to help us. Absolute garbage.

04

Outcomes focussed

Meaning he wants to charge you more if the thing he promises actually happens. By linking his payment to a measurable outcome that is easier to achieve than blowing your nose, he's quids in.

06

Global expertise

It's highly unlikely he knows what to do so he'll throw in a load of names of people he won't contact but might actually have some inkling of what the problem is.

If I could bottle and sell some of what Strategy Man delivers, I'd have people with serious liver disease and a collapsing health service.
